I DIS ROBÀS[The stolen days]

We who are poor have little time
for youth and beauty:
world, you can stay without us.

Slaves since birth we are!
Butterflies that never have been beautiful
dead in the chrysalis of time.

The rich don't pay for the time:
the stolen days from the beauty
of our fathers and of ourselves.

Is there no end to the fast of time?

Pier Paolo Pasolini

The picture of butterflies (and not grubs!) that never had beauty accompanies me to the concept of an existent beauty never felt rather than a missed one tout court. We should have more often the desire or the bravery to move aside the veil [glass] steeped in prejudgements or fears and thus seizing every detail and shade of a beauty of others...
